4. A better piece of "literature" for this purpose..
would be "and Tango makes three" by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell. Two Princes falling in love is too silly even for a child, but a real life of example of an "alternative" family based on a true animal story is far less objectionable even to a hard core conservative Christian.
Adults straight and gay would enjoy the wonder of this story!
