Gainesville judge hears lawsuit from school gay-straight alliance
http://www.washblade.com/thelatest/thelatest.cfm?blog_id=7447

Attorneys representing teens who fought to create a gay support club at White County High School in Cleveland rested their case before a federal judge just before 2 p.m. today. Attorneys for the school system are now presenting their arguments.

The ACLU of Georgia argued on behalf of the teens June 12 at the federal courthouse in Gainesville, Ga. The legal group filed the federal lawsuit against the White County school system in north Georgia, alleging high school administrators violated the federal Equal Access Act last year by banning all non-curricular school clubs as a way to keep out a gay-straight alliance.
