Makers Move Forward On Single Dose HIV Drug
(New York City) Drug makers Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Gilead Sciences Inc. said Monday that a pill combining their two HIV treatments proved equivalent to the two therapies taken separately, meeting a requirement for regulatory approval.

The pill includes Bristol-Myers' Sustiva drug with Gilead's Truvada in a fixed dose. It uses a process called "bi-layer" technology to combine the drugs into one tablet.

The companies said they plan to file an application for the drug with the Food and Drug Administration sometime between April and June.
Separately, Gilead said it has completed a study of another AIDS drug, a treatment called JTK-303 or GS 9137 to block the HIV virus.

The two drugs listed above is my cocktail, I guess only having to take one would be great. I just wished they could do something for my partner, 17 pills twice a day. :(

2. This ia all thats left that will work.
For the past 2 month he has been fighting pancreatitis. It has not been easy.

I do have to say though our Doctor says he is living on borrowed time. He said by all rights he should have died 3 years ago. I still have hope & pray alot.

3. I had no idea.....You don't really worry too much about the liver when
you're fighting for your life. You have my sympathy and my prayers. We've lost the better part of a generation with no end in sight. Sometimes there's nothing left but hope and prayer. At least here you can get some emotional support.....

Maybe its only a "cyber-hug" but its sincere.
