If the program is half as compelling as her name, it will be well worth tuning in. I dated an actual Secret Service member for three years, not lesbian but most DEFINITELY gay! Three Viet Nam vets, ex-Air Force, I've romanced them all. The world can never escape us, never! :-)

And just when they finally think they have, their daughter goes and breaks the happy news, "I'm gaaay!"

1. Friend of my daughter (who is gay)

from HS, joined the Army last year. As my daughter put it, "She is the kind of dyke who you wouldn't want to cross in a dark alley." From what we have heard, she is doing just fine in Iraq.

I've known some women--both straight and gay--who could whup swaggering "tough guy" George but good.

3. to my Republican friends

I always explain that the U.S. military would become the most feared in the world if we train up a manhating lesbian mechanized infantry division as premier ground attack unit and a prison guard unit all nasty 'roid-pumped gay men.

I never hear any more about gays being a problem in the military after that.

4. Zsa Zsa Gershick read from her book, speaking of

one unit of nurses and medics. If gays were removed from the military, the unit would have been decimated.

Ms. Gershick is a very gentle, deeply thoughtful person. She actually reminds me of some of the nuns I've known in the past.
