Ok, so the woman I got him from thinks she wants him back! She said she couldn't keep him, couldn't afford it, and when she found out who the people we were checking him out to adopt to, she went on and on about how they wouldn't be good. I think it's more of a case where she believes no one can give him as good a home as she can...it's a common belief among cat people. Anyway, he has the run of the place now and I'm seeing if he'll get along with my other cats...he thinks they're all great and want to play, but they hiss and run and he thinks the running means they want to play so he chases them...pretty funny. Anyway, we'll see how it goes this weekend...he's on my lap right now fascinated by my fingers as I type!

10. I thought his face was a little angular because he's skinny,
but I'm starting to think there's a little Persian in him giving him that look.

8. Yup, just need to make sure the other cats accept him...they haven't yet...
but I've noticed they're checking him out a little more...some hissing all on their part, but Ashley thinks it's because they want to play!

12. Just my experience
but I have always had luck with the kittens. The older cats teach it to play and always win but if I bring in an older cat it is hell to pay for the new cat and for us. I hope they decide to love him too. He is so darling I just want to reach out and pick him up and squeeze him :-).

13. All mine are old ladies and are way past the playing stage!
He doesn't understand that they don't want to be bothered...they are mainly ignoring him until she starts running at them!

You're right, though, the older cats are less threatened by kittens than they would be by a new adult cat.

14. Older cats...
Can be a good influence on older cats. Once they accepted the kittens our older cat got along great. They lay on the cat tree and groom each other.
