Sydney Gay Festival Facing New Money Crunch
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/10/101005mardiGras.htm

Three years after Mardi Gras declared bankruptcy and reinvented itself a slimmer more community based organization it is again facing a serious cash shortage.

Ticket sales for two advance events which provide most of the funding for the world renowned gay festival failed to meet estimates with New Mari Gras already operating at a $305,000 loss.

The big parade will go on as planned on March 4, but some events associated with the month-long festival may be cancelled. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that organizers will hold a review of plans and finances.
