Rick Warren Speaks At Conserv. Anglicans' First Meeting
Yep, the group that split off from the Anglicans over gay issues was honored to have the First Homophobe run over to speak at their organizational meeting.

Rick Warren, staying classy as always.

2. And people thought it would be the kiss of death for him to speak at the inauguration
Heh. As if "inclusion" by itself changed minds.

3. But I thought speaking at the Inauguration
was going to magically make him a liberal. :sarcasm: I'm shocked, shocked! that 90% of GD: P was totally and utterly wrong about Rick Warren.

6. From now on I'll just expect that anything they insist on in there...
is the opposite of what is actually going to happen. I'm not sure if there is a word for that trait. Maybe it's something new, birthed by the internet.

7. Boy, that "reaching out" political ploy really worked, huh? Not.
See what happens when you honor a notorious homophobe?

8. Rick Warren is the Rush Limbaugh of the left! I mean the right! uh, the left! no, the right!
When I think of the values of the Democratic party, I think of Rick Warren. I'm so glad our Democratic President bestowed his blessing on Rick. One can't get a better endorsement than that.

9. Rick Warren has been meddling in Episcopal conflicts for some time now.
Frankly, I think that the Southern baptists have enough problems of their own that he needs to deal with, things like declining membership and a prominent pastor calling for the president's death.
