1. I suspect if they're warning the SFPD to be ready...
...the decision will not be in favor of overturning Prop H8. :-(

2. Clarification
Just to clarify a few things. The Court must announce 1 biz. day prior to an announcement that one is coming. Also, they only announce rulings on Mondays/Thursday (meaning announcement alerts come Fri/Wed). In this case the Court has till June 3rd to make an announcement. But keep in mind, this will most likely not go the way proponents of same-sex marriage want. The Justices hinted during the oral arguments that they would uphold Prop. 8, but also uphold the 18,000 same-sex marriages as valid.

5. Seems to me that your last sentence wouldn't hold much water
for the judges. How can you allow "some" to do something so fundimental to equal rights, then turn around and deny anyone else who tries it? Doesn't make sense as a legal decision.
