Saturday is my birthday, and I have to renew my driver's license...
So, the $100,000 question is: Do I take back my organ donor status, since it stands to reason that if they won't take my blood, then they probably don't want my organs, either? Or maybe I could insist that they add a box to check that specifies that my organs must be given ONLY to GLBT recipients?

1. Take it back
WHY give future PROFIT to a medical community that calls you a second-class citizen? Even IF you stipulated the organs should only go to GLBT recipients, can you trust the community that has ostracized an entire community to follow those instructions?

2. Yeah, let your organs rot
No use in saving anyone's life after you're gone, right?

Come on, this is a no-brainer. Stop with the drama and do the right thing!

3. I'm about 50% sarcastic in that OP....
but surely you see the hypocrisy of this? If I were to die in a car accident today, my organ donor status is up to date. They would harvest my organs without any regard (or even knowledge) of my sexual orientation.

4. Sure, I see it
If I died today, my organs could be used to save Rush Limbaughs life. But, they just might be needed to save a childs life, or a friend's, or anyone else's. You see my point as well, I'm sure.

5. I do....
The rational thinker in me does, at least. However, I am getting tired of the invisible "US Citizen, 2nd Class" stamp on my birth certificate. This is just one example that popped into my head...
