GA fetal rights law hits snag - because it might affect capital punishment
http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/stories/2008/02/18/abortion_0219.html#comments

"Because of its wording, the bill could outlaw some forms of contraception, bar family members from discontinuing feeding and treatment for terminally ill relatives and make capital punishment illegal. It could also give death row inmates more legal recourse to reopen their cases."

So, the party that brings us logic and reason and less government wants to find a way to write this amendment so it will allow the state to take a life while at the same time take away the right of a woman to make decisions about her health and her body.

It's just mind-boggling, but I did find it interesting that neither National Right to Life nor the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta endorses this proposal.

(Also found it interesting that the AJC writer could not spell "archdiocese" but that's a whole other issue.)

2. Look, we're Real Christians and we want to kill who we want to kill
and control who we want to control. It is just that simple - and ordained by our gawd, so it has to be right...

4. What those in power here in Georgia are worried about...
Not poverty, not health care, not the economy, but how to prevent a woman from making a choice about her own body.
