My poem....Loss...

Sharp like the winter winds

The keening

Comes up inside me

Ripping and tearing

Laying waste

To my joy

It pulls you away

It steals your love

I’m shivering

Helplessly

In the face of it

O where are you?

I was in a sad place when I wrote it...

But the words do come more easily these days...I think my poetry class is good for me...
