1. Oh, they're just the best team EVER!

Saw my first professional baseball game, you guessed it, in the BRONX!

It was 1978, and Craig Nettles homered to the upper right deck in the bottom of the tenth to take the game from Detroit....man, I was hooked right there :)

P.s. There's never too many pics of the Bombers IMHO, but others may feel differently :)

2. Mine was '78 or '79 against the A's...

I was five, sat in left field (people were trashing Ricky Henderson). Sweet Lou hit a home run, Gossage closed it out. Great experience. I'll never forget it.

I so miss Andy Pettit. Since I live in Tampa where the Yanks practice, I saw AP at the International Mall about a year ago. I drooled.
