2. I wouldn't call any of this choking
They are two evenly-matched teams who have been playing in a back-and-forth series which has a very good chance of going to game seven. How is that choking?

3. Denver clearly has the better team of athletes.
There's no reason why they shouldn't be winning those games in Los Angeles.

The problem is they're intimidated by the atmosphere and the legend of Staples Center.

So yea, they're choking. But they're not the first team that's done so in front of Jack Nicholson.

4. That's all in your imagination
The Nuggets are the better team? Why did the Lakers have a way better regular season record, then? Who's the number one seed?

7. Regular season records mean nothing in the playoffs.
Just ask the San Jose Sharks who finished with a better record than Detroit AND Pittsburgh.

Denver clobbered L.A. in Denver the other night, and they've almost won both of the games in Los Angeles.

Don't make excuses for your team collapsing down the stretch.

They're intimidated.

8. As a bay area fan I know you're unwilling to give an LA team any credit
but don't you think that maybe Bryant, Gasol etc. have more to do with this than Nicholson?

9. So the Fakers get hammered on the road in Houston and
Denver, but transform into champions at Staples Center?

Sorry, I don't buy that L.A. is so much better at home for any other reason than teams are completely intimidated by the Hollywood surroundings.

5. The Nuggets already HAVE choked
they led the majority of the time in games 1 and 3 but choked it away in the end....so now this series is as good as over.

So, if LA plays Orlando, we've already seen the way the Magic choke games away, particularly in the Celtics series....meaning the NBA Finals will consist of the Fakers versus the Chokers. Man, that's almost as bad as NASCAR but at least basketball is a sport.

6. Absolutely .. the Magic almost choked away that big lead
against Cleveland the other night.

Fakers versus the Chokers. Another ring for Phil Jackson.
