Falcons looking to trade Vick
Hey, I know a team he'd fit right in with....they are short one felon after the release of Pacman Jones.

Atlanta general manager Thomas Dimitroff said Friday the Falcons will try to trade the contract rights on Michael Vick to another team.

Vick is in federal prison on felony charges related to dogfighting and is scheduled to be released in July. He is suspended without pay while in prison.

Vick has a contract that runs to 2013 and calls for him to receive a base salary of $9 million and a bonus of $6.43 million in 2009. The remainder of the contract is worth $45.11 million, with another possible $3 million in Pro Bowl bonuses

Just kidding.

4. Never going to happen.
He'll be cut and then go play for something close to the minimum salary in San Fran or St. Louis. If they let him back into the league at all, which they shouldn't.

9. He plead guilty to misdemeanor obstruction.
He's not a convicted felon. He didn't commit horrendous crimes. I don't believe anyone was ever convicted for that murder.

10. He got special treatment. And two witnesses "recanted"
The witnesses were going to say he stabbed the guy.

So tell me what's worse again?

12. I'll go with systematically torturing innocent animals over an extended period of time.
As being worse than a misdemeanor obstruction conviction. Did he kill that guy? Maybe, maybe not. There is no proof that he did. You can't hold a guy out of the league for something he hasn't been convicted of doing.

Would you want Vick on your team, representing your city? I wouldn't, mainly because he sucked as a player but also because he's a heartless animal killer. The fans will give him the business wherever he goes. It would be terrible PR.

16. maybe
I certainly wouldn't want him on my team, but if I was a fan of like the Lions, I would say go for it. What harm could he do?
