2. Tough call this year
It's the first time I can remember the top four teams from the preseason ratings I use each received number one seeds. FWIW, it was North Carolina at #1, then Florida, Kansas and Ohio State.

I suppose the logical strategy is to identify Ohio State since theoretically they are the weakest of the lot.

I don't look at things like bracket strength or current form. As far as I'm concerned that's mush. If the teams are the best they will overcome every obstacle.

3. Kansas
I think they're still a little young and may feel the pressure in the tourney.

5. They handled the pressure pretty well
Sunday against Texas, down by 22 on a neutral court and winning the game in overtime.

6. Neutral court?
The location may have been neutral but the Longhorn fans were definitely outnumbered by Kansas fans and those rooting against Texas.

7. The world
roots against the longhorns. I didn't see any of those fans scoring points for the Jayhawks. So texas fans don't travel well?

8. I tried to get tickets and they were sold out. Perhaps others were buying them up
when we were losing games.

I am not claiming that their fans scored them points; just disagreeing that they orchestrated their comeback in a neutral setting. That is all. :)

4. UNC
Looking at the bracket breakdown, I'd go with UNC or Kansas. The premiere game I look forward to is UNC/Texas in the Regional Semis. I could also see Kansas having a hard time with Virginia Tech in the Sweet 16.

Florida's bracket looks to be a lot easier. The only game I fear is Oregon in the Regional Finals. I like Ohio State to make it to at least the Elite 8. If I were OSU, I'd be upset that #3 Texas A & M would essentially be a home team in the San Antonio Regional.

11. My Wife is from Kansas
We have a Jayhawk flag out front of our house. The UNC coach's name is verboten to be spoken in our home. Bill Self has done a nice job with the program. We were in Allen Fieldhouse only one time. The 79 NCAA Tourney. Arkansas vs Weber State. Great experience. Indiana State was playing the same day. The tide of Hog Fans overwhelmed all the other teams fans combined. Woo-Pig-Sooeee. I'd rather my Hogs went to the NIT this year.

12. East is probably the toughest region.
I have UNC going down against Texas in the Sweet Sixteen, and Ohio State in the Elite Eight.
