THE LEAGUE'S BEST COACH, DUH! THEY ARE STOMPING ALL OVER THEIR FIRST ROUND OPPONENT YET.............ALL YOU CAN DO IS WRITE ABOUT KOBE BRYANT AND LEBRON JAMES! AUGH!

1. Apparently, you didn't watch the Olympics....
the sports media would rather pick apart the losers than give props to the winners.

(LeBron and Kobe are better players than anyone on the Pistons, but that's a separate debate)

2. Olympic coverage
Ah yes, that wonderful Olympic coverage. We were watching the US coverage of speed skating one night (we vastly prefer Canadian coverage but they had skiing on at that time) when one of our 8 year old twins turned to me and said "What I don't like about the Olympics is all the death." !!! If those 'human interest stories' provoke that kind of reaction in an 8 year old...

And re: basketball, I far prefer five solid, unselfish starters, than one talented ball hog with a weak supporting cast.

Go Pistons!

3. Chalk it up to west and east coast bias
For instance, if you listen to media baseball people, you'd think the history of the game revolved around the Yankees and Red Sox.

5. Don't forget Eva Longoria......
Besides which, the Pistons don't WANT Kobe and they probably don't want LeBron. We are doing just fine, thanks!

I still think they why they are all scratching their heads about how to "fix" the NBA, they need to take a good look at what Joe D. has done, starting with all the sellouts they've had in a row at the Palace. They also should look at the crowd at Pistons' games. They are the most mixed-race crowd you'll see at an NBA game and they are all having a good time. Sure, there are a few celebrities mixed in here and there, but it's nothing like the nonsense you see at Lakers' games. It's working class people watching a hard working team.

TEAMWORK!
