3. In the words of the immortal Marv Albert, YYYYYEEESSSSSS!!!
Champagne corks are popping not only wherever '72 Dolphins are, but wherever '60s-'70s Baltimoreans are, too! (you're looking at one)

One more Dolts loss (in the playoffs) and we'll have officially dodged the bullet! :bounce:

4. Great game Chargers!

It took a team with premier talent on both sides of the ball to defeat Indy. I had Pittsburgh and San Diego isolated as the two best hopes once the Colts defeated New England. Now the Colts may lay down against Seattle but if they had won today I think the comeback momentum would have been enough to defeat Seattle semi-handily. I'm just not a big believer in the Seahawks.

It was a great day to be a Dolphin fan. Especially if you took the +9 on the Jets. I mentioned here last week I was taking the Jets at +6 or higher. It never fails to amaze me how the bettors love to give points with losing or mediocre teams. Disregard that they seldom cover. If Miami is -6 or higher next week, I'm taking the Titans against them.

I've rooted for the '72 Dolphins for 34 consecutive seasons after my dad bought season tickets beginning in '72. It was chilling to think that rooting interest would end if the Colts went 19-0. After all, what difference would it have made if 1 or 2 or 3 teams joined Miami on the unbeaten plateau? Now we maintain the trump card in every argument. It is now 1 unbeaten, untied team in 1744 chances since 1920. The fans or posters who downplay the significance of a number like that make themselves look silly, if not much worse than that. But carry on.
