Sparano needs to be fired right now
This has to be the worst Dolphins team I have ever seen. Oh and F-U Steve Ross. Honoring the Gators at halftime is a slap in the face to any and all Miami fans. Just a horrible coach and a horrible owner. We can't win with a group like this running the show.

Everyone knew Tebow was gonna run it in for 2 except Sparano. And now they can't even throw the ball at the end of the game. God I really hate this team now. This lifelong Dolphins fan is just disgusted.

5. Right. Fucking. Now
I don't even LIKE the Dolphins, but he's the worst coach I've seen since Rich Kotite.

8. I agree...you need a thorough house-cleaning...the worst part is St. Timmeh
will continue to be the starter for Denver, and as he struggles again, people will keep pointing back to his great comeback today and keep giving him second upon second chances

9. No way, I need more entertainment

The Dolphin 5th quarter shows with Sparano's latest rationale are the highlight of the week. The only thing better would be a camera pinned all game on general manager extraordinaire Jeff Ireland.

Today was great theater. Sean Smith proved he could whiff simple fumble recoveries as well as drop gift interceptions. Karlos Dansby chastised fans for Suck for Luck then he misses a simple INT for a TD on Tebow's first pass. You can't get more Dolphin than that these days.

Even if going for two made chart sense I knew somehow it would backfire. As you indicated, the world knew Tebow would run on Denver's two point play yet the Miami defensive line was in full retreat. Watch the replay. One Bronco pulling lineman struggled to find anyone to block. Will Allen acted like Tebow was going to run a sweep. Good thing we resigned him.

As a first half bettor, the Dolphins dominated the game, 6-0, thank you very much. I have no idea why there's so much emphasis on those final two quarters, the second half circus as I've called it for years. Best of luck in handicapping that mess.

But if you want to include the second half, this game nicely extends Miami's record the week after playing the Jets to 11 consecutive defeats. If we make the playoffs don't look for a victory in the wild card round, since we face the Jets in week 16. I offer tips well in advance.

10. Funny, but I remember the Phin Phan extraordinaire, trumad, trumpeting
that Parcels, Ireland, and Sparano were the greatest thing to happen to the Phins. My, my, my... how things have changed!!

12. I don't remember anything of the sort
Our talent level was woeful in '07, particularly in the trenches, so everyone was enthused to get Parcells. Sparano came across as a tough no-nonsense guy, a welcome change from "fail forward fast" Cam Cameron. Nobody knew much about Ireland other than he was tutored and hand carried by Parcells so it was worth a benefit of a doubt.

15. That team was bad, too
And they got rid of that coach too. This guy (Sparano) has failed for the last 2 years and they keep him. He stinks. Just stinks!!

16. That 2007 team was worse
Woeful talent level. We were starting guys who had no business playing in the NFL. As Mike Ditka accurately summarized on ESPN, "The league is better than Cameron Worrell."
