2. Both are sort of correct ...
... but the more common one is Li Na, in the sense that Li is her last name in Mandarin and the usual way to anglicize it would put the last name first.

So, Federer Roger FTW!

3. Either as champion would be fine with me.

Some really good tennis so far!

In Chinese, the family name is usually shown first. Therefore, Li Na = Li is family name and Na is her given name.

4. I tuned in late -- in time to see Federer go on a tear
I've nothing against Nadal and won't be crushed if he wins or anything, but I'm pulling for Federer.

8. lol --
I say that, and then Nadal wins five straight to win the game from 0-40.

9. Nadal vs. Djokovic would have been 100x more interesting
Full credit to Federer for a tremendous effort. But we've seen that matchup at least a dozen times and the fundamentals are always the same. It reminds me of an American vs. an Asian in ping pong. One side gets everything back, forcing the other guy to win the point 3 or 4 times, and eventually it wears you out.

Djokovic at his best can dictate to Nadal, not consistently but in long stretches. Nadal feels pressured to change his game, exactly the opposite of when he plays Federer.

I give credit to Nadal for basically conceding in his pre-match quotes that Federer was a more favorable draw for him.
