Some throwback uniforms just need to be thrown away

Case in point, the Red Sox and Cubs are wearing uniforms that are supposedly replicas of the teams' unis in 1918. They look awful. The Red Sox unis look like something a person wipes themselves off with after a shower. And the Cubs look like they have "UBS" instead of Cubs. Throw 'em back.

And to tell the truth, I think maybe the apocalypse is already here for the 2011 Cubs. They stink. Gawd I hope the NFL solves things and I can watch my Packers.

6. I'm a Cub fan

I got addicted at an early age and do not know how to quit. But I do know that if they win the WS while I'm still alive, I very well may die shortly afterwards, if nothing else from extreme drunkenness. Because I will rent a hotel room in Chicago or (preferably) stay with a friend I know up there and proceed to party like never before or again.

Too streaky, uninspired play, poor defensively, weak bullpen,. . .

There isn't even a reason to hope that things will get fun and they'll get hot. Just gonna be a long, boring season.
