Stop the presses!! Pandaval in huge slump!
The best third baseman of all time :sarcasm: has gone 4-41 at the plate since April 28, dropping his average down from .373 to .282!!

Meanwhile, MVP and triple crown candidate Andre Ethier leads the NL in batting average, home runs, RBI and slugging percentage.

The question raging right now in San Francicso...what is wrong with the panda?

2. Update!
Giants..18-15

Dodgers..17-17

The Giants were shut out today by San Diego. Pitcher Mat Latos pitched to just one batter over the minimum, giving up a single to backup catcher Eli Whiteside. Congrats to Matos, who I have to admit, I never even heard of before today. Guess he won't be pitching against the Dodgers this weekend!:D

The Giants have now dropped 3 straight and Pandaval's slump continues, now 6-52 since his high water mark. Current average .274. Perhaps he is like the biblical Sampson, except instead of his strength being in his hair maybe it was in his fat that he supposedly lost during the off season? Quick, Pablo! Get thee to a Burger King, pronto! The success of your team depends on it.

Breaking news: Bengie Molina is the "slowest runner in all sports" (his words)

3. The whole team is in a slump
Bochy got at them yesterday for "sloppy play." Did a lot of good, huh?

4. Well, the pitching still looks solid
It's the hitting that is slumping. I mean, Sanchez pitched great today but he could use some help from his hitters.

Maybe they could trade just one of those great starting pitchers to the Dodgers for Manny?

5. Molina may indeed be the slowest runner in mlb
but Schulman was right on target about ESPN and SportsCenter:

"SportsCenter" used to be a must-watch but now is more of a self-parody, with its New York/Boston view of the world and star idolatry (Favre, LeBron, Terrell, etc...). But I watch it because part of my job is staying informed.

Frankly, it's getting harder for me to understand why anybody in the Bay Area ever would watch an episode of "SportsCenter" anymore.

8. Offense?
What is that? I have not seen it come out of any San Francisco team in over half a decade. What is this scoring people speak of?
