2. OK, they were better today . . .
Frankly, I don't think I've been so happy about an Orioles victory since the final game of the 1966 World Series, when the O's beat the Dodgers, 1-0, behind the pitching of Wally Bunker and a home run by Paul Blair. That day, I said, the Dodgers were ex-Ported (reference to the Stockton Ports of the California League, then the class A farm team of the O's, for who both Bunker and Blair played in 1963).
