Tony Kornheiser SUSPENDED For Hannah Storm Comments
ESPN has suspended Tony Kornheiser "for some time" over comments he made about Hannah Storm's wardrobe.

On his radio show last week, Kornheiser mocked Storm for her "horrifying, horrifying outfit" on ESPN's "Sportscenter." Kornheiser hosts "Pardon the Interruption" on the sports network.

His comments:

"Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She's got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt ... way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now...She's got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body ... I know she's very good, and I'm not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won't ... but Hannah Storm ... come on now! Stop! What are you doing? ... She's what I would call a Holden Caulfield fantasy at this point."

I'm not sure who chooses her clothing, because it is God-Awful. I agree with Tony on this one.

I think if he left out the age he might have been ok, maybe not.

15. You didn't see him on Monday Night Football
Their first game was a Packer game with Rodgers under center. Guess what Kornhole talked about the entire time?

7. What?
Oh come on. Thats his schtick! I don't see anything awful in what he said. He says stupid crap like that all the time. Considering some of the really nasty stuff thats come out of some of the douches that work for ESPN, this is pretty tame...

12. I think after Steve Phillips, Sean Salisbury, and Harold Reynolds
ESPN just wanted to cover it's ass from a "hostile work environment" charge. Sure this was on air as opposed to the behind the scenes stuff of the other three, but still, if they did nothing about it, I could see this comment coming up in a future case as evidence of a pattern.

I don't think she pulls it off at all. It's just a bad outfit. What year was this taken?? It looks like some bad 70's fashion

Why in the world would she wear something so unflattering to her? I'm no fashionista but I have to agree with Kornheisers comments

18. Not Worth Suspension, but Stupid
What Tony Kornheiser said was not worth suspending him, but it was completely stupid, wrong, and inaccurate. The Skirt Hannah Storm was wearing was not too short for a woman her age. Yesterday I heard about the comment and today I saw pictures to go with the comment. I was expecting to see a much shorter skirt. I was thinking the skirt was going to be somewhere around 8"-10" above the knee. I think the skirt she was wearing was at a very apporiate skirt length for a woman of Storm's age. In addition, I do not think the shirt she was wearing was too tight even for a woman her age. I think she looked really good, except for the color of the skirt. Another color would most likely have been better.

22. The men are all in dark business suits. And she's dressed for a costume party.
It's not about whether she looks good in it.

20. Who is Hannah Storm's Guardian Angel?
Edited on Wed Feb-24-10 11:16 PM by Auggie
For someone as annoying as Storm she sure has seen her share of success. I guess it didn't hurt that her father was commissioner of the American Basketball Association and president of the Atlanta Hawks.

To me, she's just an anchor reading/repeating someone else's writing -- on-air talent, the equivalent of an empty suit. What Sarah Palin will become (or already is).

25. Hey, at least Hannah can read what she's been told to read...
Palin can't do that, neither could Bush...he had to have an earplug with Karen Hughes telling him what to say!

Not defending Hannah, not a fan, just wanna get a dig in on Bush and Quitter.

Her and Bob Costas. I'd rather listen to Frank Gifford and Howard Cosell than those two.

You're right -- she's better at reading than Caribou Barbie and *. Maybe Storm should run for governor somewhere.

In fact, it made the At the Movies list of the worst films of 2009.
