Pearl outFoxed: Dawgs whip Vols 78-63!!

I think we've got ourselves a pretty good coach in Mark Fox. He did a very good job at Nevada and I was hoping that would translate to success in the SEC. I didn't expect to upset a team like Tennessee this early on - he's already doing some very good things with our basketball team. It's a much more fundamentally sound team. Our rebounding and free throw shooting in particular are light years ahead of where they were last year. We had a couple of "almost" games against Kentucky and Mississippi State, and finally got over the hump against UT today. And we whipped their asses, too. We took a 22-12 lead halfway through the first half and UT never got within double digits again.

Georgia's traditionally been a stepping stone program. I'm hoping we can keep Fox around for a while. I already really like watching his team play.
