Wisconsin is currently getting smoked by Michigan State, Michigan won again and may be the best team in the conference at this time, but Drew Tate of Iowa should definitely warrant serious consideration for conference player of the year. The Hawks have won 6 in a row without any running game, for the most part. If Ohio State upsets Michigan next week, and my Hawkeyes can beat Wisconsin, Then Iowa is Rose Bowl bound, provided the BCS doesn't foul things up. GO HAWKS! Tate for player of the year. Ferentz for coach of the year!

2. iowa does have a good chance

to advance in the standings if they beat wisconsin and the bcs will screw iowa. but..michigan won`t lose to ohio state...

won't beat Michigan. It's a credit to Coach Ferentz to put together a team that can win the close games without a solid running game. Fry would be hard pressed to win 5 games with this many running backs down, a youthful O-line, and first year qb to boot.
