NFL Wildcard Playoff Picks (with point spreads)
Great match-ups (albeit repeats from last weekend) that could go either way. The spread tightened for the Arizona/Green Bay game since opening, from 2.5 to 1. And Cincinnati/Jets went from 3 to 2.5. It was worth waiting.

Post picks by Saturday, 4:30 PM ET. And happy viewing. Has anyone heard from JonLP24? He hasn't been traded to another team, has he?

Favorite / Spread / Underdog (Home team in CAPS)

DALLAS / 4 / Philadelphia

SUNDAY

23. Here's how you have a one point spread
Edited on Sat Jan-09-10 11:56 AM by fishnfla
They opened it at 3 pts favorite, Cards. So many people started laying money on the Packers that they lowered it to one to get money on the Cards, some bookies are making it a pick'em.

In contemperary pseudo-social study this is known as the wisdom of crowds. I dunno tho, if warner is hot, the Packers secondary is ripe for the picking.

I would take the over in this game

...it's just that the Pats have been so very unreliable this season.

21. Hey, you're back. And you found a "0" too.
Thanks, as always, JonLP24. I'm guessing your absence had something to do with a new keyboard...?

Might as well go on as is with the regulars. Would be it too much hassle to keep a second tally for just the playoffs?

22. 0 button has always worked I figured out
Whenever I need to use it I have to press the button slow and hard for it enter on the screen. Anyways my 'PC' is a small one piece rather than a keyboard & monitor type of PC.

My absence? Oddly enough I just don't feel comfortable here when my team is in the playoffs. I came in for the picks but the reason I didn't come is because I try to keep my mind off of it plus I'm into posts bashing my team which luckily has been flying under the radar on this forum for the most part. I'm sensitive when it comes to my teams so what can I say?

Also with the bowls, I had a feeling people would bash Boise St. I have to say the Fiesta Bowl was one of the most exciting ones. You saw two very good defenses playing very well. I feel bad for TCU to fall on a gimmick play when they were dominating else where than their WR to drop a TD pass on the next possession. The TCU defense pushed Boise St to a 3rd & 12 off of two strong defensives plays. Then they call a fake punt pass to change the game and take the lead for the eventual win. Feel so bad for the Frogs to play so well especially on D to fall short on a gimmick play.

Anyways I can do both with the standings. One for this season on with the playoff games added and a separate one for playoff picks alone.

Tell me about bashing, says the San Francisco fan.

I wish the Cardinals success. The fans have put up with a lot in recent years and are due some victories.

17. Picks (Tough ones)
NY Jets but I really would like Cincy to win. Winner of this game will go on to win the AFC.
Dallas

New England, only 'cause they're home. B-more is a very good team but I'm trying to pick with my head for the first 3 picks.
Arizona

Bengals, Pats, Packers and (*sigh*) Cowboys. (The Eagles need the mojo; they mustn't pull a hat trick for the season. It's immoral to lose to the Dallas Cowboys.)

31. That's the only thing I feel comfortable about going into this game
Is that AZ are the underdogs. They are 5-0-1 when they are the underdogs. The 1 is a push which was against Tennessee on the road with Leinart as the starting QB.
