Natinals to keep Riggleman as full-time manager.
CHICAGO -- Jim Riggleman, the Nationals' interim manager for the second half of the 2009 season, will be elevated to the permanent managing job, SI.com has learned.

Nationals GM Mike Rizzo said the manager would be named by the end of the week. He declined comment when asked if it was Riggleman. Nationals president Stan Kasten didn't immediately return a phone call.

1. after listening to Valentine during the World Series, I think the Nats made a good move
taking Riggleman.

Valentine sounded like an idiot providing commentary during the series.

Riggleman grew up a Washington baseball fan and now manages the team. Good for him.
