1. That sucks. One of the few teams worth rooting for.

2. That holding call was huge
Iowa broke out for a 50+ yard TD run shortly before halftime that would've put them up 17-14 but was called back for holding. Northwestern was also playing with a backup QB for most of the game and he had about 70 yards rushing.

10. Yeah, Upton.
The PAC-10 is just loaded. The first place team lost handily to a Big Ten team. Your take on that.

11. If you are referring to Arizona
despite Oregon's loss, UA is still in second. That's just temporary though, they still have to play Cal, Ore, and USC...will probably lose 2, maybe all 3, and finish in the middle of the Pac 10.

13. No surprise there
Andrew Luck leads the Pac 10 in passing efficiency(I've watched every Pac 10 QB and he scares me the most) and Gerhart leads the Pac 10 in rushing. Here is what I posted before the game started in the college football thread.

"College football fans don't underestimate Stanford. Toby Gerhart has 994 yards and 13 touchdowns and because of his size he is nearly impossible to stop in short yardage situations. I also know "experts" on ESPN were making fun of Harbaugh for his praise of his QB but I seen him play and he is a solid kid. Only a freshman he has 1,825 yards and 9 touchdowns to 3 interceptions."

14. Condem. I was for Iowa every week this year except next week. Good luck.
Its a shame my wife is in a play on Saturday, because my buddy offered me a ticket two days ago but I had to turn him down. Arrgghhh!!!

15. Great win, today, Capt.
I guess Clark plays great except for the big ones. Hate to say it. No Stanzi. No chance.

7. Oh the happyiowan is buoyant
The Hawks lost, true enough. But, they're genuinely likable boys. At the beginning of the season, my dream was to go 8 - 4. So - the kids took a very tough one right on their chins. I'm still super-proud of them.

Not an artistic or inspirational win by any stretch of the imagination, but a win nonetheless...
