Titan's owner Bud Adams wants QB Vince Young to start
A.P., 10-28-09

Titans owner Bud Adams told coach Jeff Fisher he wants Vince Young to start over Kerry Collins at quarterback this weekend against Jacksonville, according to a story in the Tennessean.

Citing unnamed sources, the Nashville newspaper reported that Adams told Fisher his preference after the Titans lost to New England 59-0 on Oct. 18 and became more insistent during the past bye week.

Adams could not be reached for comment. In a radio interview Monday night, Fisher said that the quarterback decision would "be revealed over the next couple of days." He said he and Adams have been communicating regularly and "don't have any issues."

Young's last start other than the meaningless 2008 regular-season finale was the 2008 season opener.

1. Go for it...he'll be just as bad...
...at least Kerry has an excuse, he's getting old.

2. Why Not?
After all, their season is pretty much over.

3. That franchise deserves to lose forever
After butchering the old Oilers color scheme and logo. I can't stand to watch Tennessee play in the slop uniforms they have now.

Prediction: Vince Young will throw sidearmed, and stare blankly at the sideline.

4. Is his rug on too tight or something?
Not even Snyder would go around trying to make personnel decisions in public. :eyes:

6. Bud must want his team to have the #1 pick.
That would probably guarantee it.

7. Season's over, may as well see if Young has a future;
If he doesn't, you know you should consider drafting a QB in the next draft.
