The color and pageantry of a College Football Saturday

The last shot is a little blurry. So was the picture-taker.

2. As you can see, Tru
The quality goes down as the quantity (of Bud lights in the limited edition Black & Gold can) goes up.

3. Nice...
I'll have to remember to take some at our next home game. I always bring my camera, but then beer gets in the way...

I don't think the Bucks leave the State. 5 straight in Ohio. No?

29. True. But that Happy Valley at night has always killed us.
Illinois at home this week. I think Juice Williams is fools gold. This is his 4th year starting and I believe he is around 50% or less completion rating. Of course, didn't the Illini lead the Big 10 in total offense last year?

Glad you had a good time and man oh man I miss Iowa football Saturdays. Let's hope Stanzi gets off to a bit of a faster start next week against the Nittany Lions.

11. Thanks, Bluz.
I need a mellow day. The Hawks yesterday. Springsteen, tomorrow. Life is good. If Stanzi can limit his early mistakes, I believe we got a shot. we always play PSU tough. I don't know what Ferentz does at the half but his adjustments are working. A good win.

14. Ptah, it wasn't easy.
I'm already regretting our trip west next year. It was funny. My wife and our friend at UA were texting the whole game. He's not impressed by your QB's, to say the least. I think we wore you down. By the fourth, some Wildcat tails were draggin. We were sitting next to some UA fans. Every time the I-O-W-A chant went up they would throw a "U of" before the A. Good stuff. Overall, a good game. Thanks, again.

That place will be amped. A white-out game. They are looking for some serious revenge.

I didn't go to a big football school, so I'm more than making up for lost time. The town starts getting revved up on Thursday and is nuts by Saturday. Just love it!!

Our buddy is running for Iowa City City Council. There's a big controversy allowing the raising of chickens inside the city limits. A lot for, alot against. His new slogan is Dickens against chickens!

27. Agreed, Capt.
Been asked to march in the Homecoming Parade the Michigan weekend in support of my friend running for office. Also been asked NOT to wear my Iowa FUCKING City T-shirt. In black & gold, of course.
