San Francisco Chronicle (09-07):
The Brewers won with a bang Sunday. But to some Giants, they did not win with much class. They believe Milwaukee's home-plate celebration after Prince Fielder's game-winning home run crossed the line.
The Brewers surrounded the plate as all teams do, waiting for Fielder to finish his trot. Teammates customarily pound the hero then backslap him off the field. When Fielder hopped on the plate, all of his teammates fell over backward, as if they were bowling pins that were knocked down for a strike. They then rose and continue the party.
"Did you see that celebration?" (S.F. Giants) bench coach Ron Wotus asked. "You would like to think professionals would have a lot more respect for the game and their opponents. That was choreographed."
