Lynchburg police and U.S. Marshal’s Office rescued a 5-year-old abducted by her grandparents around four years ago from Atlanta. Police arrested David Duncan, 50, and his wife Sharon “Sandy” Duncan, 46, on outstanding arrest warrants from Georgia for kidnapping and custodial interference.

The Duncans were members of the controversial House of Prayer in Atlanta, according to police.
The Duncans, and House of Prayer Reverend Arthur Allen Jr., were convicted of cruelty to children in 2002, according to police.
Police rescued the little girl with at least five other children, all under the age of 12.
