1. Stewart and Colbert
will be having a lot of fun mud-slinging at each other, am sure

Those two are so good at playing off each other.

2. I'm glad to see Holly Hunter got the nod for "Saving Grace"
I'm surprised that show didn't get nominated for more, it's pretty incredible.

3. Damn!
No nomination for "The Big Bang Theory" or Jim Parsons, who steals the show every week. :-(

5. You know, I wondered about that.
I very much like "The Big Bang Theory". Very well cast, and terrific, smart, funny writing. I thought it would garner some noms...and I thought Jim Parsons would get a nomination. Maybe next year.

6. I am so happy
to see that you and BattyDem like that show. I have not quite figured out what I like about it but I do like it and I thought maybe it was just me since I get all kinds of ribbing at home for my "poor taste" in entertainment :P. I am a sucker for a good ensemble, even if the show is not so great, but I like this show in it's entirety. Love the cast. Jim Parsons is fabulous.

Breaking Bad... House... all AWESOME shows!

Although I think 'Big Bang Theory' should have been nominated for writing.

Maybe they didn't make the cut-off date?

It also looks like I missed some good stuff I didn't know about:

Best Made for Television Movie
'A Raisin in the Sun'

Best Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program
Don Rickles, 'Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project'

OOOOOOooOOoooohhhHHHH!!!!
Best Supporting Actress, Miniseries or Movie
Laura Dern, 'Recount'

7. It's great to see Mad Men getting some recommendation
I don't get cable anymore, but I downloaded it from iTunes, and I can't wait for the second season to become available.

(I was actually alive--although a child--during the period when the series takes place, and they rarely strike a false note.)
