starting study of violence in Peace and Democracy politics

I just checked out the book SOFT POWER: the means to success in world politics, by Joseph S.Nye,Jr. 2004 edition. I'm thankful for public libraries, now I do not have to buy the book in order to read it. The Seattle Public Library had the latest edition, the University only the older version.

1. I'm surprised noone has read it
I should qualify that to I'm surprised by no comments. Actually, I am wondering why no serious social sciences political movement is countering this junk. The color revolutions exist, students evidently can be bought.
A line of thought on violence as 'the regulating group-mind' is John McMurtry's article "Explaining the Inexplicable" in the book The 9/11 Conspiracy: the scamming of America, ed.by James H. Fetzer,PH.D. published 2007.
The task still remains of learning the language used by the controllers of these soft power movements.
Without becoming mentally imbalanced in the process.
I was in support of removing Ceausescu and viewed the DVD on the peaceful overthrow, prior to the advent of twitter. Then I came across Tarpley's comment that Ceausescu had signed onto the IMF's austerity program to offset the debt servicing required by rolling over the previous debt into a greatly increased rate for repayment. The devil is in the details.
