I'll never read another Margaret Millar book again. SPOILERS Just finished
Beyond This Point are Monsters (1970).

The ending was too ambiguous. Who killed Robert Osborne's father, Robert or his mother? Why was Mrs. Osborne referring to Felipe as her son? Was it just because she was so much in denial that she was batshit crazy? :eyes:


I read at least one other of her books years ago, and although I remember almost nothing about the plot, I recall the ending of that one was unsatisfying too.
