The County Map vs The State Percentage Map
Edited on Thu Nov-25-04 04:21 PM by BamaLefty
Here is a picture (not anymore) of how counties broke for Bush. You know, the ones that repukes look at and say "Look at all that red." Well, I have been shown this map on another site by a Repuke and I am now wanting the map that displays the percentage of red vs blue, state by state.

For instance: 48.3% for Kerry in Wisconsin to 48.1% for Bush. So this would have half of the state blue, and exactly half of the state red. This is the map I need and I believe a fellow DUer created it and had this same topic on the front page.

* And yes, he photoshopped that dumbass little title onto the top of the picture. Thanks to Diebold. :eyes:

Gotta slam those righties! Thanks.

2. Did you read my story?
I want the map that disputes this one! The one that has red vs blue in every state.

And I didn't put the "* Country 2004" above the map... he did! Duh!

7. Thanks for removing it.
I suppose you can understand my grumpiness. I am looking for the same map you are looking for! The one with the red/blue divided by state (horizontal by each state). I believe it was done by a DUer.

Thanks again, and sorry for my grumpiness!

3. Here's a more accurate map: "Purple America"
done by Princeton professor Robert J Vanderbei.

Check out the whole page-- it has some interesting information.

MMA (Media Matters for America) posted a couple of articles concerning the way the media inflated Dub's "victory" (using misleading maps)-- very deceptive information, not just from Fox (bit surprise) but MSNBC and Newsweek as well. I don't trust ANY of them!!
