Web attack stumps Butler OH BoE. Voter ID in MO, SC? Florida in Britain?

After the attack on Butler County Ohio's Elections website, the director of info services will check the county's web servers & sites to determine if they are secure. Meanwhile the Sheriff is investigating...Paperless touchscreen machines once were "the wave of the future" until they were tied to lost votes, switched votes, inexplicable & massive undervotes & contested elections. Now 30 Canadian municipalities will try the latest "wave of the future", internet voting... Aspen's May 5 2009 election in news again -new criminal & civil complaints.....Will there be a winner in the UK election?...

1. Whole lot of computer mishaps lately.
Well, that's what happens when they're used for miscounting ballots.

2. one thing that has changed
is in North Carolina, our biggest malfunctions occur when officials upload the early voting ballots.
There are big chunks of votes cast all in one place, and sometimes these get uploaded wrong, or doubled.

But we have paper ballots in most counties, but unfortunately toilet paper vvpats in others.

Our 2008 election was a drastic improvement over our 2004 election as far as
election issues. We even cut our undervote rate for president in half, good thing
since the presidential contest was razor sharp close in NC - 13,000 votes!
