I Have a Bad Feeling About November

It's fixed. The Powers That Be are happy if it's Hillary or the Republican.

If by some chance it's Obama against the Republican, the voting machines won't
let him win.

The cover story will cite the "Bradley effect," explaining away discrepancies
between the vote counts on one hand, and the pre-election polls and the exit
polls on the other, by saying that in the privacy of the voting booth, white
and hispanic men would not vote for a black man, but they lied when they
talked to the pollsters.

1. I could not disagree more...
The die are not cast yet...

There is so much enthusiasm for this election...

Many more people will be voting this fall than have in a long time...

Stealing an election is much less possible or likely when there are huge numbers of folks voting...

And California at least has gotten rid of the touch-screen machines...

I suspect other states will have by then too...

Chin up!

We are far from lost!

9. I couldn't possibly agree more.
It was Dem voter apathy in 2000 and 2004 that allowed a vote close enough to steal and I don't see that happening in 2008.

However, just to be sure, super-glue all your Republic neighbor's doors shut the night before and drive, carry or push your Dem neighbors to the polling stations. Kidding on the first idea, really.

3. If Obama wins, it's the Will of the People; if Hillary wins, she cheated
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Got it!

8. That's not what I said at all.

I said that Hillary represents a choice as acceptable to the Powers that Be
as the Republican will be. There's no need to cheat for her.

I'm suggesting that the need to cheat only comes up in an Obama candidacy,
and that the Bradley effect can provide the cover for it.

18. The point is, there's no way to know it wasn't fixed.

The election is being constructed in such a way as to justify
discrepancies between the vote counts and the exit polls.

If Hillary gets more votes than the exit polls indicate, the
explanation will be that Republican women voted for Hillary
but told the exit pollers they voted for McCain.

If Ovama gets fewer votes than the exit polls indicate, the
explanation will be that racist white men voted for McCain but
told the exit pollers they voted for Obama.

Clinton wants Florida, Michigan delegates to Democratic convention reinstated

The Associated Press
Friday, January 25, 2008
WASHINGTON: In a bit of political theater, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Florida Democratic Party clamored to restore convention delegates that had been stripped by the national party.

At stake: 185 delegates in a state where Clinton leads almost 2-to-1.

The presidential candidate said Friday — just four days before Florida's primary — that she wants the convention delegates from Florida and Michigan reinstated. The national party eliminated all the delegates from those states — more than 350 in all — because they broke party rules against holding their primaries before Feb. 5. All the major Democratic candidates also made pledges not to campaign in those states before their primaries.

Clinton could claim most of the Michigan delegates because she won that state's primary after the other major candidates pulled their names from the ballot.

"I know other campaigns have tried to downplay the significance of these two states," Clinton told reporters in South Carolina Friday. "I think that is not a good strategy for Democrats or any of us who cares about the outcome of this election."

7. I don't think that either Michigan or Florida Delegates should be seated....
Rules were definded before these two states had ever run there Caucasus and it was agreed on that the two states had not played by the rules.... therefore the delegates should not be seated.. period.

16. Thank you for your concern.
And I'm charmed at your belief that Obama's sympathies are NOT Republican. I know who the media has anointed and it ain't Hillary.
