Election TV!!! Streaming Vid LandShark w/ SOS rep (R) & State Rep (R)
Edited on Fri Apr-28-06 10:53 AM by Land Shark
Two Republicans forced to listen to (1) Land Shark, and (2) actual live demonstration of Clint Curtis vote hacking program.

Good appearances by Holly Jacobson of VoterAction, Richard Borkowski computer consultant (demonstration of Clint Curtis program hack on TV!) Paul Lehto / Land Shark (opening comments and final words and comments in between)

<http://seattlechannel.org/media/programDetails.asp?title=5010630>
(streaming video online available at this link)
same link:
http://seattlechannel.org/media/programDetails.asp?title=5010630

Paul Lehto's opening ten minute comments from about 1:30 to 12:00 in this 1 hour and 45 minute program are good, including the comment that if you're looking for an effective election cheater --- look in office! (Republican secretary of state information manager and republican state rep on the panel)

At approximately 27:30, Republican state representative who is pretty good on freedom of information issues, mentions that Paul Lehto has done a good job of pointing out DRE problems in counties in Washington state (previously, I didn't know it had registered at all with Republican state reps)

Here's the broadcast times in the SEattle area, and the link for streaming video you can watch right now is above. Enjoy!!

5. Sweet, sweet point you got in there --
If someone commits bank fraud, they don't become president of the bank.

If a candidate commits election fraud, they get to set the standards for the next elections.

If you want to locate the people who might commit fraud - LOOK IN OFFICE.

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Very good, job - Landshark! We've got to stop 'hinting' and come out and make the connections obvious: Republicans have created a culture of corruption in Congress, in business, and in elections.

12. Can you option-left click to download?
Also - I would love to see Mark Crispin Miller's latest C-SPAN presentation - the one at the college - on the next version of your CD. :-)

IMHO, you might cut out some of the coverage of the people's reactions to 2004 in order to free up space on the disk. It is all good stuff, but the videos I like best are the overviews (to introduce people who don't know anything, to the key issues) and the demonstrations of methods by which one can cheat -- WESH-TV on altering memory cards; Votergate shows vote-switching software; Topic A shows hacking the Central Tabulators...

It is all good, though --> :hi:

31. you are correct
the CD is full, so there is no more room for videos unless something is removed. We will continue to remove older content and replace it with newer content (this has already happened once or twice).

in regards to the MCM interview, I personally like the first CSPAN interview better than the second. Mainly because in the second one he goes off on a tangent towards the end talking about how religious fanatics are running the country. The first interview focuses primarily on the elections.

I would really like to get this video on there so someone please figure out a way to download it, and I'll take it from there!

I do have Crispin-Miller's recent C-SPAN though - I could email you that one if you don't have it.

24. In the final analysis...paper ballots and no DREs at all ever
Thank you so much for the link that enabled me to watch the program from Seattle Channel.org; it was just great. Despite the protestations of the election official, who is probably an honest fellow and cannot understand, or doesn't want to think that it will ALWAYS BE POSSIBLE TO MANIPULATE THE VOTING RESULTS WHEN ANY KIND OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT IS INVOLVED. The most important point to me, would be that the votes be on paper ballot of an endurable quality, marked with indelible ink/or some sort of indelible pencil, and COUNTED AT THE PRESCIENT/POLLING PLACE BEFORE BEING TURNED IN TO ANY CENTRAL COUNTING FACILITY. AFTER being counted at the polling place, these same ballots, marked by human beings, and counted one time by human beings, would be counted FOR A SECOND TIME, at the central tabulating facility...WITHOUT THE USE OF ANY ELECTRONIC/MECHANICAL TABULATING DEVICE (which of course can be "fixed" pre-programmed...or destroyed. What do you do if the power goes out? All over the city? Why not avoid any and all of those problems by voting, either absentee, or at a polling place on a paper ballot, which you know is going to be counted by the polling place crew BEFORE they turn it in to the central staff, which staff will be REQUIRED to verify that count by doing it again, sans any electronic device. And citizens must be able to watch the counting at the polling place AND at the central tabulating facility. And, yes, we may have to wait a day or so to get the results....it would be worth forgetting about our need for "instant" results, in order to feel sure we got the ACCURATE results.

25. Yikes! checking my own spelling would be a good idea
That was not meant to be "prescient" polling place, although....if they're fixing the equipment, I guess the polling place could be considered prescient....geez, and I even did a spell check, I thought.
