They LIED about the LOCKDOWN in OHIO!!!!! They are BUSTED!
Edited on Thu Nov-11-04 12:19 AM by Nordic
THEY LIED ABOUT THE BUILDING LOCKDOWN ON ELECTION NIGHT IN OHIO!

It was just on the Olberman show. That county in Ohio that had the whole building locked down, and didn't let anybody in, even the person who was supposed to observe the count, and they claimed that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security told them that they were under a level 10 terrorist threat for that night ....

Well according to Olberman, that is a LIE. The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are now saying they gave NO SUCH WARNING to anybody!!!

They LIED. They are BUSTED.

YEAH!!!! (insert Dean scream here)

on edit, by the way, the Olberman link for today is here.

25. was the media in that county notified about the security level "10"?
I mean, shouldn't the polling stations and schools and everyone else be notified about the possibility of an attack?

How convienent that they lock only that building at that time of night, when the rest of the county was in possible danger also.

One other thing. Why would anyone lie, cheat, steal, manipulate or otherwise support such a sorry ass excuse for a Resident?

11. Leaving GOP a face-saving way out?
(I just posted this elsewhere on DU, but it could possibly explain what's going on.)

Assume for the moment that the Reps did steal the election.

Assume also that they fear they may be exposed, tarnishing the party's image, ruining careers, and possibly landing people in prison.

The ringleader could tell the GOP lackey running Ohio's election to throw Ohio to Kerry, possibly after reaching a behind-the-scenes agreement not to expose the fraud.

Remember, nothing is yet official in Ohio. And as Ohio goes, so goes the presidency (unless Florida flips first).

If we apply sufficient pressure, Ohio may "stumble upon" more glitches or votes that election officials had hid in a mattress somewhere. The more crap we uncover, the riskier it becomes for the GOP to grab Ohio.

If Kerry had come out accusing the GOP of fraud, he would have left them no face-saving way out of their self-created mess. This might be why they appear interested in learning everything we have uncovered but seem to avoid saying anything in public.

Not sure I believe my own speculation, but it might be a clever strategy. It could also potentially explain the absurd silence of the media and Democratic leadership. Perhaps the media's trying to help both sides broker a peaceful agreement rather than provoke Civil War II. This would also potentially explain why we can't get the raw exit poll data.

Any agreement would likely include other provisions, possibly including avoiding pursuit of the Valerie Pflame matter and other ugly potential scandals. It might also involve an agreement to avoid looking retrospectively at past elections in which, many of us have argued, the Reps may have stolen many more elections, such as those in Georgia 2002. I hope Kerry would not give the Reps a free pass on such things, but letting them off (at least partially) would kind of be like pardoning Nixon. I'm simply speculating about what might happen. Everything above is pure speculation.

33. I seem to recall the reason the exit polls did not reflect the
voting tabulation was because the pollees knew very well (from direct observation) that answering in any way differently from the way that the unknown questioner wanted was likely to get them shot! Not a way to assure accuracy of results.

I certainly have lost a whole lot of respect for the democratic leadership and Franken who has close ties to same.

Right now the real leadership is here at DU. And I have a feeling that is how the American Revelation was started over 200 years ago -- small groups meeting. However this time we are meeting in small groups on the Internet. Brainstorming ideas, sharing research.

If the US media uses this research and has the balls(ovaries) to break one of the BIGGEST Stories in the history of the US -- then great! Let them take the credit -- be we will know who the real hero(s)/heroins are!

45. Charges filed?
Crying wolf and/or lying about a possible terrorist threat has to be a violation of some kind of law. Has anyone attempted to file an FBI or police report on these guys for their BS? Has anyone reported them to Homeland Security for aiding and abetting terrorism by falsely claiming a level 10 threat?

There have to be some kind of legal repercussions for such blatant dishonesty from those who are supposed to uphold the law.

50. The question is who told them this
It quotes a "face to face" meeting.

In other words, we need a sketch of the perp. Because I'm thinking it wasn't offical "homeland security".

“In a face to face meeting between the FBI and our director of Emergency Services,” Ms. South continued, “we were informed that on a scale from 1 to 10, the tri-state area of Southwest Ohio was ranked at a high 8 to a low 9 in terms of security risk. Warren County in particular, was rated at 10.”

But the Bureau says it issued no such warning.

Just a thought, but is this the same place where there was that report about an investigation into a programmer accessing computers a week or so before the election?
