CNN changed their Exit poll numbers
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 07:11 PM by chrisclub
Of all the evidence I have seen that the Republican-owned vote counting machines were rigged, this is some of the strongest.

At 12:21AM, after the polls had closed, the CNN exit polls were showing Kerry winning the popular vote with a 2.5% margin.

At 1:41AM, CNN Drastically changed the Exit poll numbers on their screen (to reflect the numbers coming out of the vote counting machines).

Anyone with a rudimentary knowlege of math can prove the "Updated" CNN exit poll numbers were faked.

Both CNN screens showed that of those polled, 53% were Women, 47% Men.

The 12:21AM screen shows 51% of men voted for Kerry and 53% of women voted for Kerry, and a total of 1,963 were polled.

The 1:41AM screen shows 47% of men voted for Kerry and 50% of women voted for Kerry, and a total polled of 2,020. (57 more people were polled)

12:21AM Calculations:
Of 1,963 polled, 47%(% Men) x 51% (% Men who voted for Kerry) + 53%(% Women) x 53%(% Women who voted for Kerry = 52.1% of 1,963, or 1,022 voted for Kerry.

1:41AM Calculations:
Applying the same calculations to the 2,020 number displayed at 1:41AM, you find only 991 voted for Kerry!?

How can the number of people who said they voted for Kerry DECREASE after 57 people were added to the total?

Time Bush Kerry Total
12:21AM 941 1022 1963
1:41AM 1029 991 2020
Change: +88 -31 +57

After 57 more people were polled, Bush's total was increased by 88 and Kerry's total was decreased by 31.

=============
Has anyone seen an explanation? What is CNN's explanation? How do the Republicans explain this?

3. Weighting wrong? Bogus!
The "weighting" comes Before you choose who to poll, not AFTER you ask them who they voted for.

This is very simple... as of 12:21AM CNN had asked 1,963 people who they voted for... 1,022 said they voted for Kerry.

At 1:41AM CNN said only 991 of the now 2,020 people polled said they voted for Kerry.

4. Kerry voters changed from 1,022 to 991
This is very simple...

At 12:21AM CNN had asked 1,963 people who they voted for... 1,022 said they voted for Kerry.

At 1:41AM CNN changed their numbers to show that only 991 said they voted for Kerry. (After 57 more people were asked!)

Look at the CNN screens yourself...

5. chris, You speak with the voice of reason. Isn't it total bull shit.

This one fact and the various explanations on this site were the clincher for me too. I like the way you outline it. Basically, they retrofitted the poll to meet the elation results at the very least, to avoid controversy (if you know what I mean).

They cared more about appeasing and serving power than they do about truth. They would have had to post the real results, point out that the last two Presidential exits were within .5% of accuracy and stood their ground. They are cowards.

The ultimate commentary on the press is simple: "Deep Throat," Mark Felt, chose to release his identity through a reporter for Vanity Fair. This says worlds about how far the mighty Woodward and Bernstein have fallen, along with the Washington Post. Felt just gave them the blow-off because he know they're whores as are the "majors," or as I like to call them CM (corporate media).

7. My thought, too, autorank! Deep Throat today wouldn't have a chance...
...of getting his information out, except at places like DU.

And I agree with the poster. This was the biggest journalistic crime I've ever witnessed, and in my opinion completely discredits the news monopolies. We should just turn them off, and get everybody else to do so. What they did was outrageous!

This election cried out for verification, and what did they do? They faked the numbers on everybody's TV screens to fit the official tally.

Bogus election. Bogus news.
