2. To post a "News Banner" or other image
If you want to post a "News Banner" or other image

"Right click" the banner/image.

Try this one here... >

One of the choices may be "properties". Left Click that.

A window pops up that has the "url address" for that image. "Copy (CTL C is one way) and Paste (CTL V is one way)" that url onto the post you're creating.

Most of the times that works. If not you can put the news services name into google "image search", often finding the banner there.

But it's all icing. The post is the cake.

10. another one I wrote but (care2.com has better networking)
Petition to support Verified Voting and Election fraud investigations. <http://www.gopetition.com/online/6410.html#post >
I am going to Washington DC and would like to deliver this in person, I am going to Lobby for Verified Voting on June 9th and 10th. Please sign this, and let others know about it!

"Petiton to support Verified Voting Lobby Day on June 9th, the Rush Holt Bill HR-550, and call for meaningful investigations of election fraud, in order to enable meaningful reform. ..... "
Petition:
We can not all come to Washington DC on June 9th for Verified Voting Lobby Day, but we the under-signed STRONGLY support Verified Voting because we as Americans value our democratic rights and principles.
We also insist on real and vigorous investigations, also prosecutions, and if warranted impeachment and punishment, concerning the election fraud incidents of 2004, without which meaningful voting reform is doomed to fail."

Please read Robert Koehler's The Silent Scream of Numbers http://www.commonwonders.com/archives/col290.htm

Also very important info here- http://www.verifiedvotingfoundation.org

I liked this site-the format but didn't have much luck with it. Care 2 has better ways to network-but there petitions stay ON there forever- you can still ask for Kerry to pick McCain as his running mate. I absolutely AM going to use mine and submit them!!!!

State NAACP, Dems want to see plans for new touch-screen voting machines

By Chris Joyner

Mississippi Secretary of State Eric Clark told a group of civic leaders Monday putting touchscreen voting machines in every precinct in the state is the best way to ensure secure and accurate elections.

20. Recent Diebold Board Member (Timken) now Ambassador to Germany
Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but it seems interesting. Also don't know if this is old news . . . it's new to me, anyway.

(snip)

Tapped to be the new U.S. Ambassador to Germany is William Robert Timken, Jr. former head of the Timken Company from 1962 - 2003 and according to two news sources he was a member of Diebold's Board of Directors since 1986 and stepped down from that position on June 30, 2005. Diebold Election Systems based in Ohio sells touch-screen voting machines not designed to produce a paper trail. In a Mother Jones Magazine on-line article from March 5, 2004 the importance of Ohio in the November 2004 election and the possibility of it being flawed and/or rigged are discussed. It points out that one of two companies selling such voting machines in Ohio is Diebold and it describes W.R.Timken as a Republican loyalist and a major contributor to GOP candidates. 'Since 1991 the Timken Company and members of the Timken family have contributed more than a million dollars to the Republican Party...'

21. Watergate-style money laundering indictments stoke Ohio's stolen election

Watergate-style money laundering indictments stoke Ohio's stolen election fires

As federal probes rack Team Bush in Washington, three huge indictments for money laundering and other pro-Bush election crimes involving Ohio "Coingate" lynchpin Tom Noe have stoked powerful new Watergate-style financial fires under Ohio's stolen 2004 election scandal.

A close associate of key Republicans from George H.W. Bush to George W. Bush to Ohio Senator George Voinovich to Ohio Governor Robert Taft and many, many more, Noe has long been known as northwest Ohio's "Mr. Republican."

He has also been at the heart of speculation on how huge numbers of votes in the Toledo area may have wrongly found their way into the Bush column, helping the GOP again take the presidency in 2004.

<snip>

In a widely circulated 2003 fundraising letter, Diebold CEO Wally O'Dell promised to deliver Ohio's 2004 electoral votes---and thus the election---to Bush. O'Dell and Noe are two of Ohio's nineteen GOP Bush Pioneer/Ranger high money donors.

Sworn testimony in the Free Press hearings further confirmed that Diebold technicians were given access to the machines procured by Noe, compromising the Ohio recount, and were allegedly involved in the selection of the precincts to be recounted, in violation of Ohio election law. Ohio requires that precincts be "randomly selected" in a recount.

Noe's wife Bernadette chaired the Lucas County BOE leading up to and during the actual November 2, 2004 balloting. Under her guidance, Toledo-area officials purged some 27,000 voters from registration lists in late summer 2004, just prior to the November presidential vote. The conduct of the election under her regime was so deeply tainted with incompetence and fraud that Ms. Noe announced her resignation effective soon after the election. The scandals ran so deep that in the summer of 2005, the Republican Secretary of State, J. Kenneth Blackwell, was forced to make public a scathing report on how Lucas County handled the election. Amidst the public uproar, the entire Lucas County Board of Elections resigned.
