Save San Diego and Humboldt from Diebold!

The situation: We have connections to Humboldt and San Diego officials and can get their attention if we have something official-looking to give to them.

The challenge: We need something SUMMARIZING why they shouldn't purchase new Diebold systems. It needs to be:

1. ONE page
2. Bulleted points
3. Official-looking (don't put things in all caps or exaggerate)
3. Sources listed to back up each point

How about everyone who reads this comes up with one point and the sources it came from? If this post gets ten responses then we have our document to hand to the officials.

1. please see the other thread you started on this...

there's more than enough to make a bulleted list from. the key points are unsecure software, criminal history of their employees, BOE could get sued for secret vote counting, ties to republican party, blatant lies their spokesperson has made to the press, ... it will be hard to get it all on one page.

If you come up with a one-pager on this, please make it available to us all. it would be a great thing we could use the new USCountVotes mailing tool to send to BOEs all across the country.
