3. sure, here ya go

BOSTON - Many voters in last year's presidential election were denied access to the polls through trickery and intimidation, former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry told a voters' group Sunday.

"Last year too many people were denied their right to vote, too many who tried to vote were intimidated," the Massachusetts senator said at an event sponsored by the state League of Women Voters.

"There is no magic wand. No one person is going to stand up and suddenly say it's going to change tomorrow. You have to do that," he said.

Kerry supporters have charged that voting irregularities in largely Democratic areas made it difficult for voters to cast ballots in the November election. A lawsuit in Ohio cited long lines and a shortage of voting machines in predominantly minority neighborhoods, but the Ohio Supreme Court dismissed the suit.

Kerry also cited examples Sunday of how people were duped into not voting.

"Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday. People are told in telephone calls that if you've ever had a parking ticket, you're not allowed to vote," he said.

Bad week for dimbot. Bad period coming up.

Ironically, I'm convinced that when * drops below 40%, which will happen soon, and we have a huge * generated f'up (the dollar, even worse in Iraq), there will be HUGE interest in election fraud. People will use election fraud to absolve themselves and the country of the shame this clown has brought upon us. At that point, the stories that demonstrate it will flow like a raging river and we'll "be shocked, I say, shocked" that there was election fraud in these here United States.

Whatever it takes to get us through this insanity.

6. pallas' statement...
Certainly tracks with human nature, doesn't it? Getting on the vote fraud train would be the cover a lot of people would want and need for getting vocal about their disatisfactions.

7. ...and THEN, I'm afraid, there will be either another
spectacular terra-ist attack arranged in one of our major cities or else there will be efforts to provoke and over-report domestic rioting and other violence so that the blivet** has an excuse to declare martial law.

I'd expect them to try the terra-ist attack first. It worked real well the first time.

11. Well, they are a "one trick pony" but...things may be different this time
and they may know it. About six months prior to the 2004 theft, a poll ran with the impactd of another 911 on the election. People said they'd dump * in a hot minute. There was no attack, just the "oldies video" of the filthy terra-ist. I think with * at about 40%, a new attack would infuriate folks...but you never know with "the sheeple."

13. We know they will not give up power without a struggle, and we also know
that there is nothing so vile that they will not do it if they believe it will help them hold on to power and feed their greed.

The people are not as trusting of them as they were. I think the key is to be able to provide a VIABLE ALTERNATIVE to the Bush administration. We need strong spokespeople, clear policies, and a message of hope. We also need to work on ways - like The Paper Chase Project ( http://rawstory.com/contact/paperchase.html - it was set up as a short-term project but it needs to be long-term ) - to get the truth and the alternative agenda out to the public despite the collaborationist media. (Though there are a few hopeful signs on that front lately.)

26. Yes, yes! I agree! I had this same thought over the last few days...
...as the latest reports on disapproval of Bush have come out. I've been tracking this for some time. His approval rating was so low before the election, Zogby said he couldn't win. It dipped to FORTY-NINE PERCENT ON HIS INAUGURATION DAY! Now, more detailed polls are showing 63% oppose his domestic policy (social security, the deficit, you name it), 58% oppose his foreign policy, and personal (overall) approval is down to 44% (in one poll, 45% in others)!!!. I keep waiting for the news monopolies to comment (of course they don't).

It doesn't have to get down to 40% for this to be remarkable. It is already astonishing (although not to those of us who are familiar with the election fraud evidence). And it is unprecedented! No recently "re-elected" 2nd term president has ever had such low numbers.

It stretches over time (2 years) and is reflected in many different polls. (57% opposed the Iraq war before the invasion--something people forget. The only exception on the Iraq war was during the invasion itself, with a lot of US lives at risk. Now it's back up to almost 60% disapproval again.)

The stat that gets me is on torture. 63% of Americans disapprove of torture UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! That's the America that I know! --the one that is fair, and just, and not just respectful toward international law, but a leader of it.

It's just so obvious that this man DOES NOT REPRESENT the majority of Americans.

These big disapproval numbers underscore the election fraud evidence, and I think that every speech about election fraud should begin with this info.

It's only a matter of time before people--even news monopoly people--start scratching their heads, and saying, "Wha....?"

...and going back and looking a bit harder at those election stats.

...and getting whomped on the head by what we have ready for them to peruse.

14. I'd like to propose (if his family is willing) to use Athan Gibbs' name
in association with nation-wide efforts to promote clean, fair elections. He worked tenaciously on this for so long, and when he was in a fatal "accident" 8 months before the 2004 election, it was a tragedy not just to his family but to the whole country.

His story is amazing, and I'm ashamed to say I only learned of it on another thread tonight. It is mentioned in the OP and discussed further, with links to additional information, in some of the replies in this thread:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...
Thread title: "Update from the NASHVILLE conference / and bradblog suggestion"

Again, if his family supports the idea, I think it would be a great thing to associate ATHAN GIBBS' name with the cause of election reform, especially with the voting machines. He was an expert in open-code, clean voting machines, and he was pushing hard for them to be accepted at the time of his "accidental" death. Whether his death was truly an accident or not, I think his name and remembering his fierce devotion to this cause would help in carrying on his fight.

27. My little meme campaign...
Dump "MSM" ("mainstream media"). They do not any in way represent mainstream opinion in this country. They are war profiteers and propagandists, who DOCTORED the exit poll data on everybody's TV screens, on election day, to make the exit polls (Kerry won) fit the official results (Bush won), thus denying the American people strong evidence of election fraud. This is not done in other countries. This was a DAMN LIE. And they thus prevented a general outcry and investigation.

Not to mention their goddamned lies about Iraq WMDs.

Change to NMS: news monopolies. Or NMN: news monopoly news. Or MMN: media monopoly news.

29. Did you happen to see the Overseas Vote for Lucas County Ohio
I think if you contact the reporter, he might have the breakdown between categories, perhaps...

this is an old article - found it this weekend.

"In Lucas County, of the 5,379 provisional, military, overseas civilian, and hospital voters, Mr. Kerry won 3,662 of them, or 68.1 percent. Mr. Bush won 1,701, or 31.6 percent. "
