Where's the Outrage! M$M did story on waitress discrimination and its consequences-But why can the GOP do something much worse-and hardly a peep-even from Blacks.

1. I feel outrage for both issues.
Not sure why one can be capable of being outraged by only one issue at a time.

5. You may be thinking of Denny's
They settled a class-action suit a few years ago for the way they treated African-Americans.

As an African-American, I love Denny's. They are so afraid of being accused of racism that they fall all over themselves trying to make sure that I get great service.

6. Both Denny's and Waffle House have been the subject of lawsuits
for discrimination.

The Waffle House is more recent; stories I'm aware of go back as far as 1999 and as current as October of last year.

3. Its the scope of the issue.
Sometimes, a large scope issue is just too difficult to get ones mind wrapped around it.
I mean, really, its has ALWAYS been the case that the MSM would rather focus on individual stories than "big picuture" stories.
I always hated that.
They frame some political issue with the story of one person.
Anyways, the Awful House issue is an easy story for the MSM.

4. It just seems strange to me....
Other than Jesse Jackson, no other well known Blacks are making a stink-remember driving while being black-how about voting while being black?

7. I know what you mean.
Its the way the media is, I hate it.
You know, honestly, the longer I live, the more I realize that "The Media" is just people, no smarter than "the rest of us".
Thats why we gotta take them down off of their perch.
