VOTE needs some data - can you guys help?

VOTE is going to gather information to link Progressive groups across the country in the fight for election reform and against election fraud.

What I need is information about Progressive groups. Here is what I need:

Progressive group name
website
State - unless it's a national group
County - unless it's a national or statewide group
Contact person
Contact email

It is very important that I have more than just a website. I need contact information as well for when we send out action alerts.

Picture this: Some rethug comes up with a half-assed attempt at an election reform bill. We are opposed to it - it has more holes than swiss cheese. We need to stop it from becoming law!

The word goes out. VOTE springs into action:

* A letter opposing the bill is drafted by our crack VOTE writing staff
* A copy of that letter is emailed out to Progressive groups all over the country AUTOMATICALLY via our super-duper database application
* A letter tailored to the media (small words & soundbites because they need a little help sometimes, bless their hearts) goes out AUTOMATICALLY via the aforementioned super-duper database application
* A letter tailored to our elected officials goes out (same way as the others,lol) outlining why we don't support the bill and what we want in an election reform bill
* The Progressive groups who are working with us contact their members to have them crank out the emails, faxes and phone calls. There are thousands of people working now. Hundreds of thousands - all speaking the same message.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Just like that - we have a chorus of outrage, motivation, grass roots, whatever!

But we need contact info for Progressive groups! Please help us get this information!

Either send the info to me at [email protected] or post it here. I will add it to the database and to our VOTE group site.

This dream will be real, folks. It will happen. The database is underway, although a bit slowly, but it is going to happen.

They can't stop the truth or the people.

I have to tell you, I mentioned on our list serve what Andy keeps saying about receipts vs. ballots, and I kind of got my wrist slapped. They have "plenty of lawyers and computer scientists" in their little group, meeting, which seems to be a group one cannot join, but Katherine will report to me. Oh, this is New Jersey for America. I think. It's the NJ DFA.

I thought Maybe Andy should have an electronic chat.
