Questions about a NH Recount....
I admit I haven't been following that circus, but I notice that in NH Chimpie got the greatest boost (+15%)between the exit polls and the voting tallies of all the states. (FL +7, OH +6)

I get nervous whenever Nader is on the prowl because he seems so much to be a loose cannon.

The best case scenario would be to showcase NH as being characteristic of the fraud/error that occurs with BBV.

But may I ask, how do they intend to recount the electronic machines? Presumably there is no paper or permanent record or am I incorrect on that point?

1. NH uses optical scan and paper ballots
so in this case there is a paper trail.

2. There is a paper trail - the machines are the optical scanner ones. nt

3. If I'm not mistaken ...

Highlighting the fact that an actual recount where paperless machines were used is impossible is the eventual point.

4. Blackboxvoting.org
requested Nader to do this. If he can show the outright manipulation of the data they can force recounts in 34 states.
Check out http://www.blackboxvoting.org for the info.

5. NH was always suspicious, IMO
They vote first, they end earlier than many states, their population is not huge, yet they were so very late in reporting their results. Now it seems they were just waiting to see if Ohio really did go for Junior. If not, they would've gone for B*sh, themselves, and put him over the top (combined with Florida). NH is just not right in this election.

6. NH
I'm a NH resident and my town Bedford allowed those in line at our one precinct to stand in line after the polls closed. I'd imagine that was part of it. I also think we have one of the largest precincts in the nation (over 25,000 in one precinct and no plan to change this for 2008).

7. But Ohio called it by midnight & lines continued until 3am
I understand what you're saying, but NH is just...off. It's a good place to start investigating.
