CNN: It's just political theater. Democrats just trying to score points.
This was the analysis of one of their political experts earlier this morning. They must be feeling a little alarmed their efforts to suppress the story of the vote suppression in Ohio weren't successful. After all, it's the job of the corporate media to keep us in our place. Once we get a taste of democracy in action, who knows what we might do next?

8. FASCISM
Dictionary Definition with my notes included -

* "A one party system of government"
- we essentially had this until 'Dean hit the Scene', and it is definitely what the neocons are working towards

* "in which each class has its distinct place, function and representation in the government"
- (R) = neocons, corporatists, religious right, military (hawkish), invester class, wealthy elite ... (D) = women, intellectual, average working 'thinking' stiff, ethnically, socially and culturally diverse, poor ...

* "but the individual is subordinate to the state"
- the Patriot Act ....

* "control is maintained by military force, secret police, rigid censorship"
- .... need more be said

* "government regimentation of industy and finance"
- I am not certain how one tells the difference in the Bush administration ... which controls which & are they even separate?

18. We CAN shut it down
We need a campaign that starts where OUTFOXED left off...we must expose the agenda of the corporate press and get the world out and move people to reading independent press and push Air America Radio. Move the liberals and independents to our real journalism and let FOX and CNN and the rest fight it out for the audience that remains.

3. Why are you even watching that BS network?
If they piss you off you should take your next broken tv to your local distributor and drop it off with a note attached saying you are going to cancel your subscription and then tell them why.

10. Let's tell the media they are missing the big story "Election fraud"
Time to email these news propagandists, and tell them to inform the people of the election fraud. That is why they are called the News, News is to inform the people not to dis inform the people.

22. I'd like to point out to DUers that don't know already
that if you go to www.TV4all.com you can stream over 380 channels worldwide for free. Cancel that cable and get yourself some real world news from other countries and save $50 a month!!! They also have music television stations that actually play music! And good music at that! Who would have thunk it! Also you can go to www.webtvlist.com for more free tv. Reuters news also streams from thier website without commentary. Theres definently no real need for cable anymore so cancel those subscriptions and get it for free!

I gave up on CNN after they dissed Rev Al Sharpton at the DNC for his "Bush bashing" speech. It's was the best out of all of them, it was the truth and why we are fighting today. Too bad the covention wasn't about Bush bashing, it would have made a difference.

25. But "All the world a stage" as The 'Bard' said...is it not?
I further find no problem with today's proceedings being called "theatre" today...since as everyone knows, theatre is a FAR HIGHER art form than the medium of TV. So CSPAN should not be throwing stones from its seat in life's peanut gallery!

Repubs just threw up lies and distortions. The Dems today had something the Repubs will never have. Soul and the truth on thier side.
