1. Did he win, or did he "win"?
I wonder how much fraud took place in non-swing states.

5. Of that I'm not sure.
Whether he really won of if he "won." The local news just said that after the votes were counted Iowa went to that murderous bastard. I live in the NW corner of the state and it is extremely rebuttlickin' around these parts and we voted with paper and pencil up here. I don't know if they used voting machines in the bigger cities or not. Generally Iowa is known as a pretty progressive state. At least it used to was :-(

Sickening, just sickening:puke:
Either way we must kill those damn machines:grr:

6. Still, Kerry got 13% more votes than Gore
unfortunately Bush improved even more. (+15%)

7. I guess Kerry won in the exit polls
"So, according to ABC-TV’s exit polls, for example, Kerry was slated to carry Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada and Iowa, all of which Bush carried. "

Sounds to me like Bush* could win the whole country the way the Republicans do elections.

And they want to have their "mandate" and all.

They are probably worried that too much stuff could surface in Ohio - they need more buffers.

8. How are they announcing it?

Have they finished counting all the ballots?

The Iowa SOS site still only has the "Unofficial" results posted
and Iowa excepts Abesntees that were postmarked the day of the
Election. There were reportedly 500,110 absentee requests and as
of Nov. 2 there were still 50,000+ still unaccounted for. Granted,
some will never be submitted for various reasons, but those mailed
ON Tuesday and that arrive before Monday at noon will be counted.
