NOW The Republicans are Asking for a Re-Vote
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Republican Dino Rossi on Wednesday urged his Democratic rival in the closest governor's race in state history to join him in calling for a revote.

"The uncertainty surrounding this election process isn't just bad for you and me - it is bad for the entire state," Rossi said, reading from a letter he said he sent to Democrat Christine Gregoire. "People need to know for sure that the next governor actually won the election."

The Gregoire camp immediately dismissed the notion that a revote might be feasible. She is scheduled to be certified as Washington's governor-elect Thursday, by a scant 129 votes out of more than 2.8 million cast.

"It's irresponsible to spend $4 million in taxpayer money on a new election just because you don't like losing this one," Gregoire's spokesman Morton Brilliant said.

4. Let's keep having revotes until a Republican actually wins.
There's an idea.

6. What is this uncertainty is he talking about?
And why didn't he feel this way after the first two counts, hmmmmmm?

When schadenfreude is deserved, it's hard not to enjoy watching.

7. There is no uncertainty-Gregoire won the election.
I am constantly amazed at how republicans want everything and some more.
Rossi lost, so why doesn't he get over it?

14. Was there some indication of fraud there? We know why there should be
a revote of Ohio with all the election fraud that went on there. Is there ANY indication of fraud there?

21. The same problem (claimed, at least) that has some
bugged about the OH results: more ballots cast in some precincts than registered voters. Don't know if King County's reconciled the figures, or if the reports are even accurate.

except the TRUTH! How is it that Freeper's can't see this? I just can't stand to think there are that many ignorant people in this country! What are they getting out of this?
